At the 2011 Arabian Travel Market in Dubai in May this year the Etihad Stage was more engaging than ever. tkm9 produced two 3D TVs (glasses free) for the event and a huge interactive flight simulator wall for tourism professionals to experience the new Etihad Boeing 787 Dreamliner before its release.
The reaction test game was developed and produced by tkm9 was implemented as an experiential installation at multiple sites including a main site at Federation Square (per video below) and multiple other interactive screens in tram stops and also Flinders St Station for commuters to the track to engage with.
The game was based on reaction speed which extended into nightly large format projections across multiple Melbourne buildings ( call to action sites included Swanston St CGI Building, Allied Mills viewable from Bolte Bridge) with the top 10 drivers of each day then projected at Federation Square on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the winners also posted to the Vodafone Facebook page. The game was also featured on touchscreen TV’s in the Vodafone VIP tent at Melbourne 2011 Grand Prix.

Well hello and Happy Friday to y’all!
In a National first, tkm9 are thrilled to be the AFL’s Official Digital partner for some exciting new executions in 2011.
This exciting relationship with the AFL will see us developing 3D and motion high level projections for a range of clubs for the next 20 rounds of the 2011 season.
Last night was the rehearsal for the 1st lot of projections to be held at the MCG tonight. Collingwood President, Eddie McGuire as a guest on last nights The Footy Show introduced the projection rehearsal on the show in anticipation of the real projections at this evening’s game. See here:
Tkm9, in collaboration with the Collingwood Football Club have created cutting edge projection content in preparation for tonight’s highly anticipated bout against Carlton at the MCG.
Tonight heralds the first of the next 20 rounds of projection work we will see for clubs such as Geelong, Richmond, Carlton, St Kilda, Melbourne, Essendon, Hawthorn, Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne at the MCG and Etihad Stadium in 2011.
These massive 50 square metre 3D motion projections will be displayed between gates 4 & 5 and gates 5 & 6 at sundown (approx. 6:15pm) tonight.
If you are heading to the game, and are a Pies fan, get down and check out this amazing technology – check out a sneak peek here!
